Observation, Assessment and Planning in the Early Years (Scotland)

Observation, assessment and planning all support children’s learning and development. Planning begins with observing children (and recording these observations) in order to understand their current interests and stage of learning and development. This course will help you to understand the importance of observation and how your observations can assist in planning for children's continued education. This will be examined within the Pre-Birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence frameworks.
