A Partnership Approach to Care

With life expectancy increasing each year throughout the United Kingdom, new provisions for care are always being implemented and evolved. One such approach is the implementation of a care plan that is specific, tailored and personal. Studies have shown that a generic health plan does not go a long way in aiding the health needs of large numbers of people suffering different or multiple illnesses. This is why a Partnership Approach to Care is so important. This type of care plan aims to give a voice to the people receiving the care and to take in their own concerns and wishes of their care provision. This course aims to look at the positive impact A Partnership Approach to Care has on the self-esteem of those you work with, how a tailored approach to health care is more effective and the ways in which this approach can be administered and implemented. We will also pay close attention to the ways in which you, the person in your care and their families can all have a positive partnership with regards to the way care provisions are carried out. The main aim of this course is to be able to recognise the positives of maintaining a harmonious care relationship to ensure that care is specific, accurate and a plan that everyone in the care provision agrees on.
