What is Arthritis?

Arthritis is a significant medical condition in the UK with almost 10 million people living with the condition.  The painful swelling of the joints in the hands, hips and knees, in particular, can make everyday living more difficult. Help and support is therefore becoming increasingly more vital for growing numbers of people to help them adjust to their condition and to help them maintain a good quality of life.This interactive course will raise awareness of arthritis, the ways it can affect people's daily living and health, as well as the ways you can offer those in your care the best help and support.
