This course has been created for senior early years professionals and explains the key responsibility to ensure our children and young people are protected from harm and abuse. It highlights local and national legislation relating to protecting children and young people.
This course has been devised to recap the different forms of abuse and signs and symptoms of these. It will cover the reporting procedures that must be followed when disclosures are made and to raise awareness of the referral process, child protection assessments and the children hearing system.
