The main funding Azilo Training currently uses in England is from the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency), and is separated into levy, non-levy and private.
As part of the governmental changes to apprenticeship funding in the UK, if you are a UK employer within an annual payroll of £3million or more, you have to pay a levy which is 0.5% of your annual pay bill. This money can then only be used for apprenticeship training and assessment in your business.
If you do not pay a levy, then you will only pay 5% of the apprenticeship fees to your training provider, and Government funding will cover the remaining costs.
In Scotland there are two main routes for funding available. Skills Development Scotland and the Student Awards Agency for Scotland.
Skills Development Scotland
We work with Skills Development Scotland to fully fund the cost of training for most apprentices under the age of 29, however there are limited spaces so if this is a route you would be interested in please get in touch.
Student Awards Agency for Scotland
Candidates may also be eligible for funding from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland. The ‘part time fee grant,’ covers funding for a significant amount of the apprentice's qualification. and this option provides the opportunity to set up payment plans or monthly installments to cover remaining costs. We recommend this funding option for candidates 30+ years of age.
